Saffron Crocus Trail Run

Saffron Explorers are organising their 4th annual off-road run called the Saffron Crocus Trail Run. After a successful trial last year we are again welcoming runners who participate in Canine Cross. All proceeds from the event will go to the Saffron Explorer Scouts, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme fund. More information about Explorer Scouts can be seen here.

The Trail Run is scheduled to start at 11:00am for runners and 11:05am for Canine Crossers, on Sunday 11th May 2014 on the Common in Saffron Walden.

Water stations will be on route and they will also be offering jelly babies to those who need a sugar surge! Each runner will be offered juice, tea/coffee and a cake/chocolate bar on completion, together with a commemorative medal. Water will also be available for our four legged friends. Light refreshments will be on sale for all spectators to enjoy whilst waiting for the runners to return.

A Google map for directions to Saffron Walden, Essex can be found here. More information about the Saffron Crocus Trail Run together with an application form can be seen on the trail run information page.

The last day for postal entries is Friday 9th May, but you can still enter after that date by registering online via Runners World or Active websites or just turn up on the day.
